Celebrating Summer Continues!


Nothing like the beach on a hot day!  The cool water and rest refreshes our bodies on a hot day.  Here at Vineyard Community Church, we love the beach!  We also love to help people connect with Jesus Christ who brings refreshing to our hearts and minds.

We go to church.  We come home from church.  We sometimes feel a nudge that we ought to be at church.   Is "church" only a building or is it something more?  Come out and explore what it means to "be" the church.

Prayer Training
Saturday, July 10 -- 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
Wheaton Christian Center, Carol Stream, IL
This training will teach how to experience more of the presence of God in your life through prayer.   This prayer model can be applied to both personal and group prayer times.  Cost:   $10 per person/$15 for couples.  This meeting is a great oportunity to connect with others who share your heart's desire for transforming revival and you'll also hear more about the four-day November event at WCC with Pastors John Mulinde, Mark Daniel, and Carlton Authors.

After Church Potluck
Sunday, July 18
Cherry Hill Conference Center in Joliet
Everyone is invited to stay after the service and enjoy a good old fashioned potluck lunch.  We begin with some down home fried chicken and go from there!  A few games like bean bag toss are also being planned.  Please bring your own lawn chairs! 

Spiritual Discussion Group
Wednesdays -- 7:00 pm

This group meets around the firepit and explores answers to the questions about being a spiritual person.
